immersive audio

The problem that I have in this day and age of dolby atmos is that I LOVE immersive audio. I've been at it for well over a decade and get a great deal of pleasure from composing for and producing in the various formats. 

The following videos highlight why I've been in true pain, trying to decide whether to jump back into the field (with atmos) or to abandon it altogether ... simply sticking to 5.1 flac. To answer this, I think that I have to get back to my original expression about producing in immersive ... Its' a small pond full of BIG fish! It's often a way to be heard above the crowd. But it's easier when the crowd is a much smaller and devoted  musical pond.
